The SanDisk and Western Digital ImageMate readers are external USB devices aimed at photographers and videographers moving large capture cards. They rely on the built-in Windows driver, so they generally need no installation and mount cards as drives on connection. To reach the speeds a fast card supports, choose an ImageMate model rated for that card's bus mode and connect it to a direct high-speed USB port rather than through an unpowered hub.

Western Digital / SanDisk SSD (WD Blue, WD Black SN series)
